Senior Consultant – Financial Services (ERS/GRC)

About the role

The Senior Consultant will lead and manage multiple engagements within the Financial Services sector, ensuring timely and high‑quality delivery. You will train teams on regulatory changes, drive digital transformation, and support business development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor several engagements and team activities, meeting quality and deadline expectations.
• Train and update teams on regulatory trends affecting Financial Services clients.
• Lead initiatives to improve service delivery efficiency, including digital shift and work‑paper standardisation.
• Execute KPMG internal risk‑management and client‑engagement procedures (client acceptance, continuance, ICOFR, ERM, Corporate Governance, QA reviews).
• Support Engagement Partners in business development, pre‑engagement activities, and client meetings.
• Implement new services, KPMG methodologies and tools across engagements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Internal Auditing, Management Accounting or equivalent.
• Professional qualification such as CIA, CA, ACCA, CISA, CFE, CRMA, BCM or CCGP.
• 6‑7 years of experience in Internal Audit, ICOFR, Enterprise Risk Management, Corporate Governance or related areas, preferably in consulting or financial institutions.
• At least 6 months in an assistant‑managerial role.
• Fluent English communication; Arabic is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage 2‑3 engagements simultaneously and mentor teams.
