Senior Consultant - IT Internal Audit Tech Risk (ERS-GRC)

About the role

KPMG Middle East is hiring a Senior Consultant for its IT Internal Audit, Technology Risk, Enterprise Risk Services (ERS) and Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) practice in Dubai. The consultant leads IT audit fieldwork, develops audit plans and reports, advises clients on IT controls and risk, and takes part in business development.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise junior colleagues during the fieldwork of IT audits and other services.
• Ensure all IT audit procedures are completed on time and meet accepted quality standards.
• Develop audit plans, risk assessments and audit reports.
• Advise clients on IT systems, network operations, IT controls and risk management.
• Explain audit findings, recommendations and follow-up actions to clients.
• Stay up to date with current and emerging IT technologies and their impact on audit processes.
• Take part in business development, including proposal writing, client presentations and identifying new opportunities.
• Mentor and train junior staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT audit, IT risk management or a related field.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage several projects at once.
• Adaptability to changing environments and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
