Senior Corporate Accountant – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join a leading global financial services firm on a fully remote basis. The professional will be responsible for overseeing complex financial reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving month‑end and year‑end close activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes, including reconciliations, adjustments and journal entries.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state and local tax regulations and coordinate related filings.
• Analyze financial results to identify trends, variances and cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Partner with budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning teams across the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a senior accounting role.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and experience supporting external audits.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
