Senior Corporate Lawyer – M&A (Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Lawyer to join an international law firm in Dubai, focusing on corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic investments. The role offers the chance to work on sophisticated, cross‑border deals and advise leading regional and international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage domestic and cross‑border M&A and corporate transactions from inception to completion.
• Advise clients on acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, reorganisations and strategic investments.
• Draft, review and negotiate transaction documents such as share purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements, joint venture and investment agreements.
• Coordinate with clients, counterparties, advisers and other legal teams to ensure effective transaction execution.
• Provide commercially focused advice on corporate and transactional matters.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and contribute to practice development.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and support business‑development initiatives.
• Collaborate across offices and practice areas on multi‑jurisdictional matters.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with significant experience in M&A and complex corporate transactions, preferably from a leading international law firm.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and transaction‑management abilities.
• Ability to take ownership of matters and interact confidently with senior clients.
• Excellent commercial judgment, attention to detail and communication skills.
• Experience mentoring junior lawyers and a collaborative, client‑focused approach.
• Experience in the UAE or wider Middle East market is advantageous but not essential.
