Senior Cost Controller – Construction Projects

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Senior Cost Controller to join the Commercial team of Royal International Construction in Dubai. The role will monitor, analyse and control project costs, ensuring financial efficiency and budget compliance across upcoming construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing project budgets and cost plans based on design, scope and BOQ.
• Track and control project expenditures, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
• Identify cost variances and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, dashboards and financial forecasts.
• Review and evaluate variations, change orders and claims.
• Collaborate with project managers, procurement, finance and site teams to validate cost data and maintain documentation.
• Support project audit, reconciliation activities and ensure financial compliance.

Required profile

• High School diploma or higher in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of cost‑control experience in the construction industry.
• Proven background in budgeting, forecasting and project cost management.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Familiarity with cost‑management tools such as Primavera.
