Senior Credit Control Officer

About the role

The Senior Credit Control Officer ensures that all credit facilities and related security documentation are prepared, reviewed, and registered in strict compliance with Islamic financing structures, UAE law, and internal credit risk policies. The role requires bilingual documentation (English and Arabic) and close collaboration with credit, risk, legal, and Sharia teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Facility Letters, Facility Agreements, and Security/Collateral documents using approved bilingual templates and incorporating all approval terms.
• Review and validate executed finance and security documents to confirm proper authorisation and compliance with legal and Sharia guidelines.
• Ensure timely registration and perfection of collaterals with relevant authorities, adhering to Credit Risk Policy and CCD SOPs.
• Maintain and update facility limits, collateral records, EIRC registrations, and risk grades in line with executed documentation.
• Verify that all credit approvals follow the Delegation of Lending Authority and obtain required legal opinions.
• Support CCD projects, process automation initiatives, and ensure adherence to service level agreements.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of banking experience, including at least 3 years in credit documentation and operations.
• Strong knowledge of Islamic financing structures, facility agreements, and collateral documentation in both English and Arabic.
• Ability to work independently, communicate effectively in English and Arabic, and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
