Senior Credit Risk Analyst

About the role

Emirates Global Aluminium is seeking a UAE‑national Senior Analyst to join its Credit Risk team in Dubai. The role involves analysing the financial health and creditworthiness of corporate metal customers, banks and other counterparties, and providing risk‑based recommendations in line with the group’s credit policy.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct full credit analyses, generate key financial ratios and compare them against benchmarks and competitors.
• Prepare Credit Approval Reviews, recommend credit limits, payment terms and risk‑mitigation structures.
• Monitor compliance with approved credit limits, policy requirements and exception approvals, and trigger corrective actions when needed.
• Produce regular credit risk reports, portfolio analytics and management insights covering exposure concentrations, sector trends and emerging risks.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, treasury and legal teams to support commercial negotiations and ensure effective credit risk management.
• Maintain and update credit limits in the SAP system, drive automation and digitalisation initiatives, and use advanced Excel and data‑analytics tools for monitoring and reporting.
• Mentor junior analysts, share best practices and contribute to continuous‑improvement projects.

Required skills
