Senior Cybersecurity Account Executive - New Logo Acquisition UAE

About the role

Sophos, a cybersecurity company with an AI-driven platform and expert-led services, is looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Account Executive in the UAE to drive net-new customer acquisition. The role focuses exclusively on opening new enterprise and higher mid-market accounts, owning pipeline creation and deal closure while working closely with Enterprise and Mid-Market Account Executives, Sales Engineering and channel partners.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, engage and close net-new enterprise and mid-market customers in the UAE
• Build and maintain a 3-5x qualified pipeline against quota and own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
• Map target accounts across government, semi-government, BFSI, oil and gas, and large enterprises, and develop a territory plan aligned to UAE buying cycles and budgets
• Build CXO/CISO relationships and run value-based selling; lead large deals of typically $50K-$500K+ ACV and manage RFP/RFI processes
• Apply the MEDDPICC methodology consistently and ensure accurate forecasting and clean pipeline
• Work closely with channel partners, distributors and system integrators

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Information Security or a related discipline
• 10+ years of enterprise technology sales experience, with 5+ years selling into UAE government and enterprise accounts
• Proven success closing complex, high-value new-logo deals in cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS
• Strong network within UAE enterprise accounts and ability to engage senior stakeholders
• Fluent English (mandatory); Arabic preferred
• Legal authorization to work in the UAE; no employer sponsorship required

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity solutions such as MDR, XDR, endpoint, firewall, cloud security and Zero Trust
• Value-based selling and enterprise sales methodologies
• CRM and forecasting tools such as Salesforce, Clari and Power BI
