Senior Data Analyst - Fiat Business

About the role

Bybit, a cryptocurrency exchange and digital financial platform founded in 2018, is hiring a Senior Data Analyst in Dubai. The role owns end-to-end analytics for the fiat business line, including P2P, One-Click Buy, fiat spot pairs and fiat FTD, and supports product, operations, regional, compliance and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end analytics for the fiat business line, covering conversion funnels, corridor-level user behavior and revenue structure
• Build and maintain dashboards and automated reports tracking fiat OKR metrics
• Analyze fiat revenue composition (trading fees, spread, hedging PnL) and build full-chain revenue models
• Monitor fiat liquidity supply and demand, including order-book depth, spread by currency and maker/taker supply
• Evaluate payment channels and P2P partners and support commercial negotiations with data
• Support regional entities and regulatory requirements where accuracy is externally auditable
• Build operational monitoring for fiat workflows, including SLA and aging metrics, queue breakdowns and anomaly alerting
• Support ad-hoc analysis, launch impact assessments and A/B or quasi-experimental evaluations of pricing and fee changes
• Recommend pricing, currency and corridor prioritization, maker incentives and channel strategy

Required profile

• Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken)
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence or a related analytical role
• Background in payments, fiat on/off-ramp, FX, cross-border remittance, banking or fintech
• Solid understanding of conversion funnel and transaction-flow analysis
• High attention to detail, especially for externally reported or compliance-facing figures

Required skills

• Strong SQL and at least one analytical programming language (Python or R)
• BI/visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI or similar
• Preferred: crypto fiat gateways, two-sided marketplace dynamics, regulated entity reporting, fraud/AML analytics, statistical analysis, forecasting, machine learning
