Senior Data Scientist – Graph & Knowledge Graphs

About the role

QuantumGate is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to design, build, and continuously improve the data models and knowledge graph that power its Cryptography Discovery Tool. You will own the end‑to‑end technical approach, from schema design and entity resolution to graph‑based analytics and production integration, enabling enterprise‑scale security insights.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cryptographers and cyber‑security experts to translate business challenges into data‑science problems.
• Define and evolve graph schemas/ontologies for certificates, keys, algorithms, protocols, and related security assets.
• Architect and maintain data pipelines that ingest, harmonise, and enrich data from multiple sources.
• Lead entity‑resolution and record‑linkage efforts, handling deduplication, fuzzy matching, and confidence scoring.
• Implement data‑quality metrics covering coverage, freshness, consistency, lineage, and confidence.
• Develop graph‑based analytics (centrality, community detection, blast‑radius analysis, reachability queries) to surface cryptographic risk.
• Explore integration of LLMs and generative AI to enhance product features and operational efficiency.
• Design an AI assistant that converts natural‑language queries into safe, performant graph queries (Cypher, Gremlin, SPARQL).

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data science, applied machine learning, or graph‑focused roles.
• Proven track record of delivering production‑grade data pipelines and ML models.
• Strong understanding of security and cryptographic domains is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of complex technical solutions.
