Senior Database Developer – Systems Architecture, Design & Development

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is building a luxury resort on a beachfront island and needs a senior database professional to shape its data platform. You will design, develop, and maintain robust SQL Server solutions that support the resort’s operations and guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement SQL Server schemas, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using SSIS and Python scripts.
• Optimize T‑SQL queries, indexing, and performance for scalability.
• Implement Change Data Capture and configure replication for high availability.
• Collaborate with developers and analysts to meet backend data needs.
• Manage database deployments through CI/CD pipelines and version control.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and secure database environments.
• Document architecture, standards, and development processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong expertise in T‑SQL, query tuning, and performance optimization.
• Proven ability to write complex stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Experience with Change Data Capture, replication, and high‑availability setups.
• Familiarity with Azure SQL Database and cloud‑based deployments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools for database code management.
