Senior Designer – Fashion Apparel

About the role

The Senior Designer will own the design process for assigned categories, from trend research to production handover, working within Gloria Jeans' in‑house brand‑side design team in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Research trends, competitors and street style to set design direction for each collection.
• Design garments from concept sketches through to final tech packs aligned with brand identity.
• Collaborate daily with international suppliers to develop samples, provide fit comments and approve production‑ready items.
• Manage the full category calendar, balancing design vision with commercial and timeline targets.
• Travel to supplier factories to oversee quality and resolve fit or construction issues.
• Contribute to, and when relevant lead, special projects and brand collaborations.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing in‑house for a brand‑side design team.
• Strong hands‑on design skills across concept, technical drawing, fit and supplier‑facing production follow‑through.
• Comfort working directly with international suppliers on sampling and fit.
• Current, applied use of AI or digital design tools in your workflow.
• Fluent English and willingness to relocate to Dubai.
