About the role
The Senior Dev Engineer (AI Engineer) will accelerate and govern AI adoption across Mashreq Digital's engineering practice, ensuring safe, consistent and cost‑effective AI‑assisted software delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Write, review and ship production code as a practicing software engineer.
- Own operational health of AI engineering, including adoption, output quality, token and license consumption, and cost per unit of delivery.
- Document, train and run enablement activities to scale good practice rapidly.
Required profile
- Hands‑on software engineering experience, depth in either frontend or backend development.
- Ability to collaborate with Principal Engineers and the Digital Engineering Chapter Lead.
Required skills
- Experience with AI‑assisted development tools and practices.
- Strong coding skills in relevant programming languages for frontend or backend development.
