Senior Developer - Fintech & Integrations

About the role

The Senior Developer designs, builds and maintains the integrations and applications that connect the organisation's core banking system (ICBS) with fintech partners, digital channels and regulators. The role covers front-end and back-end work, APIs and Oracle middleware on OCI, across on-premise and cloud environments, and includes owning technical troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop web applications and services in Java, C#/.NET, PHP and Python, with responsive front ends and documented, testable code following secure SDLC standards.
• Design RESTful and SOAP APIs, integrate ICBS with third-party platforms, payment providers and regulatory gateways, and maintain Oracle Middleware (OCI MW, Oracle Integration and SOA).
• Write and optimise SQL Server queries, stored procedures, views and jobs, and maintain database performance.
• Deploy applications on-premise and in the cloud (OCI, Azure), use GitHub for version control and support CI/CD pipelines with change control.
• Provide L2/L3 support, trace code and logs to find root causes, fix issues within SLAs and write root-cause analyses and runbooks.
• Apply financial-sector security standards (OWASP Top 10, OAuth2, mTLS, encryption, MFA, audit logging) and remediate VAPT, code review and audit findings.
• Build and support AECB data submissions, credit bureau integrations and CBUAE regulatory and MIS reports.
• Work with the Senior Fintech Specialist on fintech onboarding and technical due diligence, and guide junior developers and review vendor code.
