Senior DevOps Engineer – Kubernetes & AI Platform

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and operation of enterprise‑grade Kubernetes environments on Nutanix infrastructure. You will enable AI and machine‑learning workloads, ensure platform reliability, and drive automation across the stack.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, administer, and optimise Kubernetes clusters on Nutanix AHV, Prism, Karbon, Files and Objects.
• Design GPU‑enabled environments for AI/ML model serving and large‑scale data pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, Ansible, Helm and GitOps frameworks.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerised applications and ML workflows using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Implement monitoring, logging, tracing and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK and OpenTelemetry.
• Enforce security controls: RBAC, image governance, secrets management, network segmentation and workload protection.
• Collaborate with AI engineers and platform architects to onboard services and improve operational best practices.
• Define backup, recovery and disaster‑recovery procedures for Kubernetes platforms.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Operations or SRE.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on production Kubernetes administration.
• Strong experience with Nutanix technologies (AHV, Prism, Karbon, Files, Objects).
• Experience supporting AI/ML platforms such as Kubeflow, MLflow, KServe or Ray.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
