Senior Director Cybersecurity Operations

About the role

We are looking for a senior leader to drive and mature the enterprise cybersecurity function in Abu Dhabi. The role combines hands‑on technical expertise, security architecture knowledge and strategic leadership to protect the organization’s digital assets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and evolve the Cybersecurity Operations, including SOC, Incident Response and Threat Detection & Response capabilities.
• Design, implement and operate enterprise security controls, monitoring solutions and vulnerability management programs.
• Define and execute the cybersecurity strategy while ensuring day‑to‑day operational excellence.

Required profile

• 5–10+ years of progressive cybersecurity experience, preferably Emirati.
• Proven leadership of SOC, Incident Response or Security Engineering teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM are preferred.

Required skills

• Security engineering and enterprise security architecture.
• SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR platforms.
• IAM/PAM, vulnerability management, network security.
• Knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO 27001 and UAE Information Assurance Standards.
