Senior Education and Interpretation Specialist

About the role

The Senior Education and Interpretation Specialist will design, manage and deliver educational programmes that bring the cultural heritage of Ras Al Khaimah and the UAE to life for diverse audiences. Working closely with schools, government bodies and cultural partners, the role blends curriculum‑aligned learning with museum and site experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop and implement educational and interpretation programmes for the National Museum and archaeological sites, both on‑site and online.
• Conduct guided tours and outreach sessions for schools and the public, translating materials to enhance heritage awareness.
• Collaborate with the Ministry of Education, schools and internal departments to ensure alignment with current curricula.
• Identify logistical needs, coordinate safety procedures with security teams, and support institutional events and summer camps.
• Prepare periodic reports, contribute to the annual budget and monitor performance indicators.

Required profile

• Proven experience in developing and delivering museum or cultural‑heritage education programmes.
• Ability to work with educational institutions, ministries and internal stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills for planning tours, outreach activities and events.
