Senior Energy Storage Consultant

About the role

Wood is looking for a Senior Energy Storage Consultant to join its Renewables business in Abu Dhabi. The role supports renewable energy, energy storage and hybrid power projects across the Middle East, working closely with global teams and regional clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advisory, project management and owner’s engineering services for BESS and hybrid power projects.
• Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams to deliver technical solutions and reports.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
• Travel regionally as required to support project delivery and client engagements.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in the BESS industry within consultancy, developer, investor or utility environments.
• Proven ability to write clear, cohesive technical reports.
• Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Passion for renewable energy and a desire to drive industry advancement.
