Senior Engineer – AV/ICT (Jordan)

About the role

WSP in the Middle East is looking for a Senior Engineer specialised in audiovisual (AV) and information‑communication technology (ICT) to join its team based in Jordan. The role will deliver innovative AV/ICT solutions for complex building and infrastructure projects across the GCC, providing remote technical support where required.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs and integration plans for AV, ICT and security systems, including structured cabling, projection mapping, interactive displays and immersive audio environments.
• Lead design reviews, ensure compliance with international standards and mentor project teams on technical matters.
• Collaborate with architects, building services engineers and other stakeholders to achieve seamless system integration.
• Produce schematic diagrams, layouts and technical specifications using AutoCAD, Revit and BIM platforms.
• Research emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to improve system performance and user experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience designing and integrating large‑scale AV/ICT systems for museums, themed attractions, data centres, or similar environments.
• Proven experience with creative AV solutions, show‑control systems, active network design and structured cabling.
