Senior Engineer – Building Structures (Rail & Metro)

About the role

Join Sener and shape the future of rail infrastructure. We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer – Building Structures to support the design and delivery of complex transportation infrastructure within the Landbridge Program across Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review structural designs for rail and metro infrastructure, including stations, depots, bridges and operational buildings.
• Perform structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete, steel, composite and other systems.
• Prepare engineering calculations, design reports, specifications and project documentation.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams such as civil, architectural, geotechnical, MEP and rail systems.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards and client specifications, and participate in design reviews and value‑engineering workshops.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering (preferred) and professional accreditation (PE, CEng or equivalent).
• Minimum 10 years of structural engineering design experience, including at least 5 years on rail and metro projects.
• Proven experience designing stations, depots, operational buildings and related infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of international design standards such as Eurocodes, ACI, AISC and BS.

Required skills

• Structural analysis and design software: ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, STAAD Pro, Robot Structural Analysis.
• Design of reinforced concrete and structural steel systems.
