Senior Engineer - Infrastructure and Cloud Engineering

About the role

Core42 is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead the design, deployment and operation of its private cloud, virtualization and observability platforms. The role is hands‑on, focusing on building scalable, AI‑enabled infrastructure for clients with strict regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate observability services (metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, alerting) using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK/OpenSearch.
• Develop and maintain large‑scale private cloud and container platforms based on OpenStack, Red Hat OpenShift and related technologies.
• Create AI‑powered operational agents that automate incident detection, root‑cause analysis and remediation workflows.
• Collaborate with architecture, product, SRE, security and operations teams on technology evaluation, integration and operational readiness.
• Support capacity planning, performance tuning, production upgrades, migrations and incident response.

Required profile

• Minimum 60 months (5 years) of experience in infrastructure or cloud engineering.
