Senior Engineer - OT Cybersecurity

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to lead the implementation of OT Cybersecurity solutions across utility environments and master control centres. The role combines hands‑on deployment, configuration, integration of security technologies and comprehensive documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and produce High‑Level and Low‑Level Design documents for OT cybersecurity infrastructure.
• Perform OT cybersecurity gap and risk assessments following IEC 62443, NIST and other international standards.
• Plan and execute cable routing, physical installation of network and security devices in substations and control centres.
• Validate and update single‑line diagrams, panel drawings and as‑built documentation.
• Deploy and integrate industrial firewalls, switches, IDS sensors, secure remote‑access and logging collectors according to approved designs.
• Support network cut‑overs, IP scheme definition, VLAN/VRF mapping and secure connectivity between sites.
• Lead FAT/SAT testing, commissioning activities and coordinate with OEMs and utility operators for outage windows and acceptance sign‑offs.

Required profile

• 7–12 years of experience in cyber‑infrastructure or OT‑infrastructure execution within utilities, substations, rail or industrial settings.
• Proven on‑site execution in brownfield substations, including panel/cabinet build supervision and cabling work.
• Strong knowledge of PTW systems, method statements and utility HSE expectations (OSHA‑AD aligned).
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Telecom or Computer Engineering.
• Relevant OT cybersecurity certification (ISA 62443, GICSP, CISSP).

Required skills

• OT network architecture (segmentation, zones, conduits).
• Industrial firewalls, switches, IDS sensors, secure remote‑access solutions.
• High‑Level Design (HLD) and Low‑Level Design (LLD) documentation.
• Cable routing, termination, labeling and testing in high/low voltage environments.
• FAT/SAT preparation, execution and evidence documentation.
• Knowledge of IEC 62443, NIST standards and risk assessment methodologies.
