Senior Engineer – Planning (Road & Infrastructure)

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Senior Engineer – Planning to lead road and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. You will oversee planning, design, and development phases, ensuring projects meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards while driving innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning and design from concept through implementation for road and infrastructure projects.
• Conduct site analysis, traffic studies, and feasibility assessments.
• Develop technical specifications, design standards, and comprehensive project documentation.
• Analyze project data to optimize solutions and identify improvement areas.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with clients, government agencies, and contractors.
• Oversee budget planning, cost estimation, and resource allocation.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers and planning staff.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, international standards, and environmental requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate sustainability and innovation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in road and infrastructure planning and design.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Knowledge of UAE regulatory frameworks and international standards.
