Senior eTrading Developer – Low‑Latency Systems (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior eTrading Developer to join a next‑generation electronic trading and market‑making platform in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on designing and building low‑latency, event‑driven systems that connect market data, pricing libraries and execution venues across rates, credit and FX.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement high‑performance, low‑latency trading applications and event‑driven architecture for market data ingestion, pricing orchestration and real‑time price streaming.
• Integrate quantitative pricing models into production trading flows and expose them via APIs for distribution channels.
• Develop low‑latency market data handlers for providers such as Bloomberg and Refinitiv, including tick processing and normalization.
• Implement connectivity to trading venues, ECNs, MTFs and liquidity sources, and build order routing, RFQ and DMA execution workflows.
• Build straight‑through processing pipelines that interface with trade capture systems (e.g., Murex) and downstream risk platforms.
• Continuously optimise latency, throughput and resource utilisation using concurrency, multithreading, memory and network tuning techniques.
• Collaborate closely with front‑office traders, quantitative researchers and infrastructure teams throughout the full software development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 120 months (10 years) of experience developing low‑latency trading systems.
• Proven experience working in front‑office technology environments alongside traders and quants.
• Strong understanding of electronic trading workflows and straight‑through processing concepts.
