Senior Fabrication Site Manager – EPC2 (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

Wood is recruiting a Senior Fabrication Site Manager (EPC2) for a major offshore PMC project with ADNOC Offshore in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role leads all fabrication yard and site activities, ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence and effective stakeholder coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of fabrication site activities in line with project objectives, HSE requirements and quality standards.
• Manage yard operations covering structural, piping, mechanical and multidisciplinary fabrication works.
• Ensure work is completed according to approved schedules, budgets and specifications.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC and commissioning teams for seamless execution.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance, productivity and resource utilization.
• Review and approve fabrication methodologies, work procedures and recovery plans.
• Drive compliance with ADNOC Offshore, Wood standards, industry codes and regulatory requirements.
• Provide leadership to site teams, fostering a strong safety and performance culture.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans and resolve technical and operational challenges.
• Prepare and present progress reports to project management and client representatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 20 years of experience on large oil and gas development projects.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience in fabrication management.
• Extensive experience in large‑scale EPC/PMC projects, offshore fabrication, welding, inspection and QA/QC processes.
• Proven ability to lead multicultural teams in fabrication yards and offshore environments.
