Senior Fabrication Site Manager for Offshore PMC Project

About the role

Wood is seeking a Senior Fabrication Site Manager to lead fabrication yard and site activities for a major offshore PMC project for ADNOC Offshore in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures safe execution, quality compliance, schedule achievement, and effective coordination among project stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead fabrication site execution in line with project objectives, HSE requirements, and quality standards.
• Manage yard operations covering structural, piping, mechanical, and multidisciplinary fabrication works.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC, and commissioning teams for seamless execution.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance, productivity, and resource utilization.
• Review and approve fabrication methodologies, work procedures, and recovery plans.
• Drive compliance with ADNOC Offshore, Wood standards, industry codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and resolve technical and operational challenges.
• Prepare and present progress reports to project management and client representatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 20 years experience on large oil and gas development projects.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience.
• Extensive experience in fabrication management within large‑scale EPC/PMC oil & gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of offshore fabrication, welding, inspection, QA/QC processes, and construction practices.
• Proven ability to lead multicultural teams in fabrication yards and offshore environments.
