Senior Fabrication Site Manager – PMC

About the role

Wood is seeking a Senior Fabrication Site Manager to lead the EPC2 fabrication activities for a major offshore PMC project with ADNOC Offshore in Abu Dhabi. The role oversees all yard and site operations, ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, and effective coordination among project stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of fabrication activities in line with project objectives, HSE requirements and quality standards.
• Manage yard operations covering structural, piping, mechanical and multidisciplinary works.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC and commissioning teams for seamless delivery.
• Monitor contractor performance, productivity and resource utilization.
• Review and approve fabrication methodologies, work procedures and recovery plans.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC Offshore, Wood standards, industry codes and regulations.
• Provide leadership, foster a strong safety culture and develop multicultural teams.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation plans and resolve technical and operational challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 20 years experience on large oil and gas development projects.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience.
• Extensive background in fabrication management for large‑scale EPC/PMC projects.
• Proven ability to lead multicultural teams in yard and offshore environments.
