Senior Fashion Designer - Western Womenswear

About the role

The Senior Fashion Designer will lead the creation of Western‑style women’s garments, from concept through production. You will translate market trends and customer preferences into distinctive designs that align with the brand’s aesthetic. The role involves close collaboration with pattern makers, manufacturers and the marketing team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop original fashion designs for Western dresses based on market research and trend analysis.
• Create sketches, technical drawings, prototypes and detailed tech packs.
• Select fabrics, trims and colour palettes for each collection.
• Work with pattern makers to produce accurate patterns and ensure quality standards.
• Oversee the production process with manufacturers to meet deadlines.
• Attend fashion and trade shows to stay updated on industry developments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in fashion design or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience designing women’s wear, preferably Western style.
• Strong knowledge of current fashion trends and garment construction techniques.
• Excellent creativity, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Proficiency in Photoshop.
• Ability to produce comprehensive tech packs.
