Senior Finance Analyst – FP&A (Retail & E‑commerce)

About the role

Al Boom Marine (ABM) is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Finance Analyst to join its Finance team in Dubai. The role will focus on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and performance analysis across retail, wholesale and e‑commerce channels, providing actionable insights to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain annual budgets, monthly budgets and rolling forecasts for multiple channels, brands and stores.
• Track business performance against budget and prior year, identifying key risks and opportunities.
• Prepare monthly P&L analysis by channel, brand and store, including variance analysis.
• Develop KPI dashboards covering sales, margins, operating expenses and inventory.
• Prepare monthly management reporting packs and presentations for business reviews and leadership meetings.
• Support month‑end close activities, including accruals and analytical reviews.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new stores, lease renewals and other investment cases.
• Improve financial models and automate recurring reports using Excel, Power BI and AI tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CIMA, ACCA, CA or CFA qualification preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in FP&A or commercial finance, with 2–3 years in retail; GCC experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong commercial acumen.
