Senior Finance Analyst

About the role

Al Boom Marine is seeking a commercially‑driven Senior Finance Analyst to join its Finance team in Dubai. You will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across retail, wholesale and e‑commerce channels, providing actionable insights to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain annual budgets, monthly budgets and rolling forecasts for brands, stores and channels.
• Track performance against budget, forecast and prior year, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Prepare monthly P&L and variance analysis by channel, brand and store.
• Develop KPI dashboards covering sales, margins, operating expenses and inventory.
• Produce monthly management reporting packs and presentations for business reviews.
• Support month‑end close activities, including accruals and analytical reviews.
• Assist with new store feasibility studies, lease renewals and other investment cases.
• Improve financial models, automate reports and support ERP/BI system enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• CIMA, ACCA, CA or CFA qualification (qualified or part‑qualified) preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in FP&A or commercial finance, with at least 2–3 years in a senior analytical role.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for financial modelling.
• Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualisation.
• Experience with AI tools for automation.
• ERP and Business Intelligence system knowledge.
