Senior Finance Analyst

About the role

Al Boom Marine is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Finance Analyst to join its Finance team in Dubai. The role will support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and performance analysis across retail, wholesale and e‑commerce channels, working closely with cross‑functional teams to provide actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain annual budgets, monthly budgets, and rolling forecasts across channels, brands, and stores.
• Track business performance against budget, forecast, and prior year, identifying key risks and opportunities.
• Prepare monthly P&L analysis by channel, brand, and store, including variance analysis.
• Develop and maintain KPI dashboards covering sales, margins, operating expenses, and inventory.
• Provide financial insights and scenario analysis to support management decision‑making.
• Prepare monthly management reporting packs and presentations for business reviews and leadership meetings.
• Work closely with accounting during month‑end close, including accruals and analytical reviews.
• Support new store feasibility studies, lease renewals, and other investment cases.
• Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis and decision support to management.
• Improve financial models and automate recurring reports using Excel, Power BI, and AI tools.
• Support ERP and BI system enhancements and ensure financial master data remains accurate.
• Document reporting and financial processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and auditability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• CIMA, ACCA, CA, or CFA qualification (qualified or part‑qualified) preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in FP&A or commercial finance, with 2–3 years preferably within retail.
• Experience in multi‑store, multi‑channel, or franchise businesses preferred.
• GCC experience strongly preferred.
