Senior Finance Analyst – Regulatory Reporting

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Senior Finance Analyst to lead regulatory reporting for a leading UAE bank and its subsidiaries. You will ensure timely, accurate submissions to the Central Bank of the UAE and support the finance team with analysis and automation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, half‑yearly and annual regulatory returns to the CBUAE.
• Manage reporting requirements for RAKBANK subsidiaries, including Protégo and RAK FS.
• Validate the accuracy and completeness of all regulatory filings against strict deadlines.
• Review financial, MIS and performance reports from various finance stakeholders.
• Provide management with financial reporting, analysis and ad‑hoc reporting support.
• Collaborate with internal teams, regulators and technology groups to maintain compliance.
• Drive efficiency through automation, data extraction, validation and process improvement using Power BI and advanced Excel.
• Support governance activities such as monthly e‑Governance submissions and reporting controls.

Required profile

• UAE National (with Family Book).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in finance, accounting, regulatory reporting or financial analysis.
• Understanding of banking regulations, accounting principles and compliance frameworks.
• Knowledge of CBUAE regulations, Basel III, IFRS, DFSA and Insurance Authority requirements is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA or CFA (or progression) are advantageous.
