Senior Finance Business Controller

About the role

Danone is seeking a Senior Finance Business Controller to act as a trusted finance partner for the Middle East Zone. You will provide financial insights, challenge assumptions and support strategic decisions that drive profitable growth across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Middle East Zone Director, commercial and marketing teams to influence pricing, promotions, portfolio optimization and new product launches.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, periodic forecasts and monthly rolling forecasts (IBP) for the region.
• Monitor topline growth, profitability, margins and KPIs; prepare and present analyses to regional leadership.
• Oversee monthly, semi‑annual and annual closing, ensuring accuracy, compliance and proper accruals.
• Manage Advertising & Promotion (A&P) investments, drive profitability initiatives and support country growth plans.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of Business Controllers in Dubai and Paris, championing finance transformation, automation and data visualization.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in business controlling, preferably in a multinational FMCG environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to provide constructive challenge and strategic recommendations.
• Excellent organization, presentation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Result‑oriented, pragmatic and entrepreneurial attitude.
