Senior Finance Officer – Stores & Receiving

About the role

The Senior Finance Officer will support the Stores and Receiving function at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, handling bank reconciliations, supplier invoicing, and month‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily bank reconciliations for assigned accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are flagged for resolution.
• Process supplier invoices and payments, verifying coding, approvals, and compliance with company policies before posting transactions.
• Assist in posting transactions into the ledger, ensuring timely and accurate recording of financial data to support month‑end closing.
• Prepare and maintain physical and digital files for financial records, ensuring compliance with audit requirements and easy retrieval of documents.
• Support month‑end closing activities by providing reconciliations, schedules, and reports to the Executive or Assistant Manager.
• Update supplier bank details in the system based on approved forms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with security protocols.

Required profile

• 1–2 years finance experience in hospitality or a similar industry.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
