Senior Financial Analyst – Business Support & Analytics

About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst – Business Support & Analytics will lead the preparation of management reports, budgeting, forecasting and financial controls while supervising a Financial Analyst. The role works closely with department heads and prepares board‑level presentations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver month‑end management reports and board presentations.
• Produce ad‑hoc reports on budget, benchmarking and data comparison, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct complex cost studies, recommend budget adjustments and cost‑improvement measures.
• Analyse statistical and financial data to project financial probabilities and trends.
• Establish and oversee financial control systems and procedures.
• Supervise the Financial Analyst, review work for accuracy and timely submission.
• Provide on‑the‑job training and promote a service‑oriented attitude.
• Maintain mechanisms for data sharing to support analysis and reporting.
• Prepare budget calculations, sensitivity analyses and rolling forecast templates.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of the reporting package and month‑end close process.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
• Proven ability to supervise and mentor junior analysts.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Experience preparing presentations for senior management or board members.
• Ability to work with department heads on budget submissions and scenario analysis.
