Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

About the role

Al Boom Marine is seeking a highly motivated Senior Finance Manager to lead the finance function across retail, wholesale and e‑commerce channels in the GCC. The role combines strategic financial planning, accounting, taxation and team leadership to support business growth and ensure financial integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning across all business channels.
• Provide actionable insights on financial performance, including variance analysis and KPI monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and GCC tax regulations, manage filings and coordinate with external tax advisors.
• Support retail, wholesale and e‑commerce teams with financial analysis, pricing strategies and evaluation of new investment opportunities.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team while collaborating with operations, supply chain and sales.
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks and regulatory authorities.
• Drive financial system upgrades, ERP implementations and automation of routine accounting tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or CMA) mandatory; MBA in Finance a plus.
• 8–12+ years of progressive finance experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership role, preferably in multi‑store, multi‑channel retail.
• Strong knowledge of GCC/MENA tax regulations and commercial laws.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and maintain high integrity.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling expertise.
• Experience with business intelligence tools, especially Power BI.
• Familiarity with retail POS systems and inventory management platforms.
