Senior Fire Fighting Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Fire Fighting Technician to lead the maintenance, testing and repair of fire protection systems across our facilities in the United Arab Emirates. The role combines hands‑on technical work with supervision of a team of technicians to ensure all fire safety equipment remains operational and compliant with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance of fire pumps, sprinkler systems, hydrants, hose reels, deluge and foam systems, water mist, clean‑agent systems and wet/dry risers.
• Perform advanced fault diagnosis, rectification and testing of fire protection equipment.
• Supervise and allocate work to firefighting technicians, monitor progress and provide on‑the‑job guidance.
• Conduct weekly fire pump tests, system inspections, preventive maintenance schedules and support authority inspections.
• Prepare and update technical reports, inspection records, CAFM data and compliance documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Electrical or Fire & Safety Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in fire protection system maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior‑technician role.
• Strong knowledge of fire pump maintenance, testing procedures and ability to read fire protection drawings.
• Excellent communication with clients, consultants and civil defence authorities.
