Senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer

About the role

Property Finder is the leading property portal in the MENA region. Its new Forward Deployed Engineering unit is a small team of specialized engineers working with real estate professionals to solve their hardest problems with AI and agentic systems. This is a customer-facing role with a significant share of time spent directly with customers, in person and remotely, and you will join the founding team.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with customers to understand their businesses, identify the problems that matter most and solve them.
• Prototype AI and agentic applications quickly, taking the ones that work to production.
• Define success with the customer, measure it and iterate based on real usage data.
• Turn individual solutions into reusable components, reference architectures and playbooks that the wider organization can scale.
• Share learnings, mentor engineers and help grow AI capability across the company.

Required profile

• 7+ years building and operating production systems, including 2+ years shipping generative AI or agentic applications to real users.
• Experience integrating with third-party systems such as CRMs, APIs and data exports.
• Data-driven mindset, deep curiosity and clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Nice to have: real estate, proptech, marketplace or classifieds experience; prior forward-deployed, solutions engineering or technical consulting experience; Arabic language skills.

Required skills

• TypeScript or Go on the backend, React or an equivalent framework on the frontend.
• RAG, tool use, agentic workflows and MCP, with evaluation, observability and cost control.
• AWS Bedrock, OpenAI and Anthropic Claude.
