Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

Presight is looking for a senior forward deployed engineer to deliver AI‑powered solutions in strategic customer environments. You will work directly with clients to design, implement and extend our big‑data analytics platforms, ensuring successful adoption and long‑term value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead deployment, configuration, integration and extension of Presight products for strategic customers.
• Own end‑to‑end technical delivery from discovery through production rollout.
• Design and develop extensions, connectors, workflows, prototypes and reusable components.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Develop production‑quality software, APIs, data pipelines and AI‑enabled components, including LLM workflows.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across applications, data, integrations and infrastructure.
• Identify repeatable requirements and convert custom work into reusable product capabilities.
• Provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering to influence roadmap and deployment tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in software/forward‑deployed engineering, delivering enterprise solutions in complex environments.

Required skills

• Strong programming in Python, Java, Go, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience building production‑grade APIs, data pipelines, distributed applications and AI‑enabled solutions (LLM workflows, model integration).
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, application architecture, systems integration, databases and secure development practices.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools, cloud‑native technologies, containerization, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
