Senior FP&A Manager – Retail, Wholesale & E‑commerce

About the role

Al Boom Marine is seeking a highly motivated Senior Finance Manager to lead the finance function across its Retail, Wholesale and E‑commerce channels in the GCC. The role combines strategic thinking, operational finance expertise and leadership to support business growth and ensure financial integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning processes across all business channels.
• Provide actionable insights on financial performance, including variance analysis and key driver identification.
• Partner with business heads to support strategic decision‑making and profitability improvement.
• Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards and financial models.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and other GCC tax laws, managing filings, reconciliations and audits.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors on corporate tax matters and regulatory changes.
• Support retail, wholesale and e‑commerce teams with financial analysis, pricing strategies and investment evaluations.
• Monitor working capital, inventory and cash flow, driving cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team across multiple functions.
• Collaborate with operations, supply chain and sales teams as a key finance business partner.
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks and regulatory authorities.
• Lead or support financial system upgrades, ERP implementations and automation of routine accounting tasks.

Required profile

• 8‑10+ years of finance experience, preferably in retail, wholesale or e‑commerce environments.
• Strong background in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling.
• In‑depth knowledge of GCC tax regulations, VAT compliance and corporate tax matters.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing finance teams.
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities to influence senior leadership.
