Senior Frontend Engineer

About the role

Inception42, a G42 company, is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to design, develop and optimise web applications with a focus on user experience, scalability and performance. The role calls for deep expertise in React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, frontend architecture and design systems, as well as technical leadership and mentoring skills.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable frontend applications, build reusable component libraries and integrate with APIs and event-driven platforms.
• Define frontend architecture standards, build and maintain design systems and drive consistency and best practices.
• Optimise performance and ensure accessibility and security, and define testing strategies.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews and promote engineering excellence.
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers and product managers, and take part in technical planning and estimation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of frontend development, 4+ years with TypeScript, strong in React.js and Next.js, with enterprise web apps, design systems, SSR/SSG, performance optimisation, automated testing, API integration and security.
• Experience with Vue.js, micro frontends, module federation, multi-tenant platforms, AI-powered UIs, PWAs, high-traffic platforms, open-source contributions and leading frontend initiatives.
