Senior Frontend Engineer – PWA & Next.js

About the role

CargoX is building an autonomous logistics platform and seeks a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) to lead the development of a responsive, PWA‑compliant web application for its CoreConnect fleet orchestration system.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a resilient, SSR‑first web app using Next.js, choosing between React Server Components and client components and optimizing server‑side data fetching and bundle size.
• Deliver optimistic UI and robust offline‑first data synchronization for connectivity‑challenged environments.
• Build data‑driven and map‑driven interfaces that provide real‑time operational views.
• Create visual workflow designer components to define robot, order, and mission lifecycles.
• Define and enforce frontend performance, security, accessibility, and observability standards.
• Mentor engineers, lead code reviews, and promote a culture of operational excellence.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on TypeScript and modern React frameworks.
• Proven ability to translate high‑level product goals into technical requirements and work through ambiguity.
• Strong ownership mindset, pragmatic decision‑making, and experience handling frontend incident management.

Required skills

• TypeScript, React, Next.js (SSR‑first architecture, React Server Components)
• WebSockets, Server‑Sent Events, optimistic UI patterns
• REST and GraphQL API integration
• AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform or Helm, CI/CD pipelines
• Backend familiarity: Java, Kotlin, Python, Rust, Ruby, Go
• Automated testing (unit, integration, E2E) and frontend security best practices
