Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full‑Stack Software Engineer to join our remote team on a contractor basis. You will work on advanced software engineering and technical evaluation projects, applying modern web technologies, APIs, databases, and distributed systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and debug front‑end and back‑end application components.
• Build user‑facing features and the supporting APIs, services, and data models.
• Analyze existing architecture, trace requests across browsers, APIs, databases, and external services.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to authentication, state management, persistence, networking, and deployments.
• Review and improve code written in multiple programming languages.
• Evaluate software solutions for correctness, performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Create reference solutions and provide detailed written feedback on technical quality.

Required profile

• Strong professional experience building production‑grade full‑stack applications.
• Hands‑on expertise with both front‑end and back‑end engineering.
• Proficiency in modern languages such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Go, Rust, or Node.js.
• Deep understanding of browser applications, APIs, databases, and service integrations.
• Ability to work effectively within unfamiliar codebases and architectures.
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with application security, performance optimisation, and software best practices.
• Strong written communication and technical documentation abilities.
