Senior Healthcare Site Architect

About the role

Stantec is seeking a Senior Healthcare Site Architect to lead the design and delivery of hospital and medical facility projects in the UAE. The role involves overseeing interior fit‑out, coordinating medical equipment requirements, and ensuring compliance with local authorities and hospital guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design of healthcare projects from concept through handover.
• Develop detailed interior layouts, fit‑out specifications and material selections.
• Coordinate with medical equipment suppliers to integrate technical requirements.
• Ensure designs comply with UAE building codes, health authority regulations and hospital standards.
• Review and comment on project documentation, specifications and authority submissions.
• Manage multiple short‑duration projects simultaneously, maintaining schedule and quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of overall architectural experience, including at least 10 years in healthcare.
• At least 10 years of experience working in the UAE.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Proven track record on hospital fit‑out and interior detailing projects.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, authority requirements and medical equipment integration.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
