Senior Hostess

About the role

The Senior Hostess will be the first point of contact for guests entering the restaurant at Rixos Bab Al Bahr. You will ensure smooth seating, manage reservations, and uphold the high standards of Turkish hospitality that the brand is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls promptly, manage reservations and cancellations, and communicate changes to management.
• Greet guests, assign tables fairly according to the floor plan, and present menus.
• Monitor table turnover, ensure tables are set correctly, and maintain cleanliness of the hostess stand.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints and special requests, following the hotel’s pacification procedures.
• Promote F&B outlets during downtime and assist restaurant staff when needed.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality or equivalent.
• Fresh graduate or up to 1 year experience in a 4‑5 star hotel environment.
• Professional appearance, punctuality and ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to follow hotel policies, health & safety regulations and attend training.
