Senior HSE Advisor

About the role

KEO Group is seeking a Senior HSE Advisor to join its Abu Dhabi team on a temporary basis. The role focuses on ensuring that framework contractors adhere to health, safety and environmental standards throughout project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct planned and unplanned inspections of contractors' work activities and labour camps to verify HSE compliance.
• Ensure timely closure of HSE non‑conformities identified in inspection and audit reports.
• Review and analyse H&S plans submitted by contractors, confirming alignment with QCS 2014 and future amendments.
• Support client internal audits and perform second‑party (BAU) audits of framework contractors.
• Monitor and report on contractor performance, preparing HSE weekly/monthly reports and KPI dashboards.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors and internal departments on all HSE‑related activities.

Required profile

• Significant experience in HSE roles within construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards, particularly QCS 2014.
• Proven ability to manage inspections, audits and corrective actions.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with contractors and internal teams.
