Senior HVAC Engineer - Offshore

Worley is a global professional services company of energy, chemicals and resources experts. We partner with customers to deliver projects and create value over the life of their assets. This role focuses on delivering HVAC engineering solutions for offshore oil & gas and petrochemical projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and approve main HVAC deliverables such as calculation reports, design criteria, technical specifications, data sheets, equipment schedules, material requisitions and bid evaluations.
• Support mechanical engineers by reviewing vendor documentation relevant to HVAC systems.
• Perform HVAC design calculations according to applicable international codes to size equipment.
• Define technical solutions for complex problems and propose optimisations to reduce quantity, cost or schedule.
• Assist chief engineers in reviewing tender documentation and preparing clarification requests during the bid phase.
• Maintain and develop specialised HVAC know‑how and provide guidance to less experienced colleagues.
• Promote knowledge transfer through mentoring and training activities.

Required profile

• Mechanical engineering background with a Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Deep knowledge of international HVAC codes, standards and best engineering practices.
• Extensive experience in HVAC engineering on large EPC offshore projects in oil & gas, petrochemical or energy sectors.
• Proficiency with HVAC calculation software.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
