Senior Industrial Designer

About the role

Analog seeks a senior industrial designer who believes precise technology should also be beautiful, expressing purpose through every surface, radius, and material. You will define the visual and tactile language of hardware such as robots, sensors, and platforms built for real‑world deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Define the object and lead industrial design from concept through production, ensuring design intent survives engineering collaboration.
• Develop the full visual and material language (proportion, surfacing, CMF, interaction points) for each product.
• Create production‑ready 3D models, engineering drawings and CMF specifications with full tolerance and material expertise.
• Manage physical prototypes from rough form studies to production‑grade models, evaluating them in real‑world conditions.
• Collaborate directly with mechanical, electrical and systems engineers, attend supplier builds, review tooling and drive field corrections.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of industrial design experience with shipped, visually distinctive physical products.
• Degree in Industrial Design or equivalent demonstrating mastery of hardware design and manufacturing.
• Strong point of view and ability to defend design decisions.

Required skills

• 3D CAD proficiency (SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360 or equivalent).
• Knowledge of injection molding, sheet metal, CNC casting and surface finishing.
• Hands‑on prototyping and lab/shop experience.
• Understanding of DFM/DFA, tolerances, material behavior and manufacturing processes.
