Senior Injection Moulding Machine Operator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Machine Operator to run large‑tonnage injection moulding machines (2500T+) in our Umm Al Quwain facility. The role involves leading shift teams, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor 2500T+ injection moulding machines safely and efficiently.
• Manage shifts, coordinate the production team, and achieve daily output goals.
• Guide, support, and motivate junior operators.
• Handle machine start‑up, shutdown, mould changeovers, and basic troubleshooting.
• Identify production and quality issues and work with maintenance/technical teams.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment complying with HSE procedures.
• Record production, rejection, and downtime data.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of injection moulding machine operation experience.
• Strong experience with 2500T+ machines; experience with 3000T‑4000T preferred.
• Good knowledge of plastic pallets, crates, and containers production.
• Ability to lead, motivate and ensure discipline, safety and productivity.

Required skills

• Operation of large‑tonnage injection moulding machines (2500T+).
• Familiarity with Tederic, Haitian or similar machine brands.
• Knowledge of injection moulding processes, moulds and troubleshooting.
