Senior Institutional Research and Market Analyst

About the role

The Strategy and Future Department at Zayed University is looking for a Senior Institutional Research and Market Analyst. You will lead research initiatives that combine market trends with institutional data to guide strategic decisions and enhance the university’s competitiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and analyse external market data alongside internal institutional data.
• Conduct comparative analyses of performance, market trends, and sector best practices.
• Prepare analytics reports that support decisions on growth, competitiveness, and partnerships.
• Develop predictive market models and forecasting tools to anticipate sector shifts.
• Maintain dashboards that integrate internal metrics with external market indicators.
• Design, administer, and analyse surveys using Explorance Blue.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and institutional policies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to generate strategic insights.
• Support reporting to government, accreditation bodies, ranking organisations, and benchmarking associations.
• Maintain institutional data repositories and contribute to the annual FactBook.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of experience (including 4 years supervisory) or a Master’s degree with at least 6 years of experience (including 2 years supervisory).
• Proven experience in institutional research, market analysis, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of data governance, privacy regulations, and academic reporting standards.
